Leander Presbyterian Church is a member of The Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). We are also a member of Mission Presbyteryand the Synod of the Sun. We have a representative form of government. Our affiliation connects us to mission efforts in Texas, and worldwide through Global Missions Unit composed of some 80 countries with Presbyterian Churches. Tithes and offerings given by our members join other benevolent contributions throughout the world to make a vast and wonderful mission ministry possible. For information on Presbyterian Disaster Assistance, click here.
We are an active member of Hill Country Community Ministries, which provides food, medical care and other necessities to local area families. Besides financial support, we collect food and other items to be taken to the Hill Country Community Ministries office here in Leander.
Our church is home to several different groups: we host five groups of young Girl Scouts, the Leander Garden Club, and a new chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
We are so glad to be able to offer support these young Scouts as they learn about life, God, service and community; and to be a gathering place for others in Leander. This old building gets lots of use and we're all richer for it.

Giving at Leander Presbyterian Church (LPC)
Time, Talent and Treasure
"Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work."
We have two primary funds for the church; the General Fund and the Building Fund. When you give to the church you can specify which fund you prefer, otherwise it will be placed in the General Fund.
How to Give
You can place your check or cash in the offering plate on Sunday. Envelopes are provided in the pews and checks should be made out to Leander Presbyterian Church.
You can give online through your bank’s automatic check payment system. This is convenient for recurring gift requests or for one-time gifts. Please note our mailing address is different from our street address when setting up an automatic “bill pay” check request.
You can give gifts through Schwab’s Charitable Donor-Advised-Funds (DAF), please contact Kim, our Session Treasurer (Kimberleekay2018@gmail.com), for the pertinent information you will need. We currently have a Schwab DAF account setup for Leander Presbyterian Church, Leander, Texas.
If you would like to give securities to LPC, please contact the Session Treasurer for the pertinent information you will need. These can also be used for Legacy Gifts to the church.
We have been considering online giving. Currently, the cost of establishing an account, monthly fees and transaction costs are higher than we would like, but the Session is studying various options.
If you are mailing your checks (please do not send cash) use the postal address below. (This is different from our street address!)
